Hi

Shot black and white on a Fuji XT2.
Importing it I see some areas of the dark blacks are showing up as green.

This green is in the exported file too - but only shows in VLC, not Quicktime.

If pure BW is what you're going after this video should get you where I think you're going. The effects plugin Duotone does essentially the same thing.

Thanks, no thats not the issue. I have this issue with blacks even in colour shots!

Something wonky about dark blacks and FCPX...

Just the standard. (iMac)

This happens whether the video is black and white or colour - it doesn't matter. It is the darkest areas that either go dark green or black...
