Consolidate duplicated Multicam clips? was created by flawed art
Hi. I got myself into a jam. I'm doing some collaborative editing over the internet. I was having problems with Multicam clips duplicating themselves every time a project xml was shared. I think I know how to get around that based on another thread - share whole Event xml rather than just Project xml. However, I'm stuck with several versions of the same Multicam clips that I didn't notice were being duplicated when the project was being shared initially. The problem of course is that when I want to make changes to a Multicam clip the changes (of course) don't extend to all duplicated Multicam clips. I just want to consolidate all of the duplicated Multicam clips instead of going through and changing each of the 5 versions I have every time I need to make a change that I intend to cover all instances of the Multicam clips. Is there a way to delete these other Multicam clips and just have one without deleting all of the instances from the timeline and recutting everything. It's WAY too late in the project for that! Any guidance would be MUCH appreciated. Thx.

The ones from XML imports reference a different Parent. You'd have to delete them from the Projects they're in, and replace them with the original. But the edits don't follow, only the internal settings in the Angle Editor. Why would you keep all those copies, anyway?
