Hi everyone. I know when sidecar was first released you couldn’t use an iPad as a replacement reference monitor. But wondered if anything had changed since then? My iPad Air 2 from 2014 is too old to support it. But I’d gladly buy a new iPad if it could be used as just a reference monitor - not just moving the viewer to it. Especially if the new IPad Pro with Mini LED screen could work as a HDR monitor.

That'd be great. I have been absent from this site for quite a while and just returned to ask exactly that. I'd like to try an HDR workflow. But maybe FCP comes to iPad OS anyway.
