So for some reason I can't Optimize/Proxy my (.crm) files on my iMac. The options are greyed out. They work fine on my MacBook Pro. Both computers have the Canon RAW plugin 2.2 installed. I'm perplexed. I'm not finding a whole lot on google but I have a found a few other instances where some people are having similar issues not being able to transcode. I just haven't determined what sorts of computers they're working with. Anyone else running into this issue? If so, what are your computer specs?

iMac = Late 2015, 5K Retina, 4.0Ghz i7, with AMD R9 395X 4GB
MacBook Pro = 2018 15-inch, 2.9Ghz i9, UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

I'm having exactly the same problem. Both computer have the Canon RAW plugin 2.2 installed, both running Big Sur 11.4. It works on the MacBook Pro but not on the iMac, exactly like you. What I've noticed is that the .crm file seems to be recognised by Quicktime as a default player on my MBP (plays the sound only tough), but it is not at all on my iMac, weird...
- iMac: 2019, 5K Retina, 3.6Ghz i9 with AMD Radeon Pro Vega 48 8GB
- MacBook Pro: 2018, 15-inch, 2.2GHz i7, AMD Radeon Pro 555X 4GB

Did you finally solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!
