Hi there,

I installed MotionVFX Mprism, but when I apply it I get this error screen. Screenshots attached.

Any thoughts?

The error is a standard FCP alert icon for a "missing effect". I received this once when applying a different manufacturer's plugin and after the manufacturer provided two different fixes I still had the problem. I was never able to resolve that.
In your case, I would try to uninstall the plugin and then re-install it. Once that is done, launch FCP while holding both OPTION and COMMAND keys and choose to delete preferences when asked. Then load a project and apply the effect and see if it works. If you get the same result I'd suggest contacting MotionVFX support. You should also confirm your version of FCP and your OS are compatible with Mprism.
