Motion Generator Template slowing down fcpx render

I'm running a motion generator template in my fcpx timeline that has two drop zones that I use for my channels interviews. It is a simple movie theater setting with drop zones on either side for posters. Our interviews generally are anywhere from 20mins -1hr 30mins. The template is at 1080hd no motion blur, no reflections and just a couple of lighting effects on it that are not published. When I span the generator across the entire thing and add images it renders so slow.

Is it the length of the generator that would be causing this or something in motion that when processed is killing the rendering times in FCPX?

A generator is going to run really slow for that long. I'd not use drop zones for something this long in duration. I'd make the drop zone areas simply empty holes. Place your videos below it and conform to fit properly. Place that into a Compound Clip is you have to pan the whole thing.
