Removing optimized files deletes all files was created by Pajczur
Hello,I am totaly new in Final Cut pro. And I have my first very unpleasant issue. I lost all my video files in library/project or however you call it.I clicked "Delete Generated Library Files", and I chose:"Delete All Render Files""Delete optimized Media"and"Delete proxy media"Now I don't have any files in the library, all have error "Missing file". I can't even create my final render video. I lost all files.
I removed all genereted files because I finished my video, so no longer need optimised and rendered files to editing. I was sure rendered, optimized and proxy file are only for better performance while editing. But now I can't create final video file because there is no one video file in library. it looks like something is wrong. My library content was about 200 Giga Bytes. But now it is only 100 Mega Bytes. So it looks there is no video file at all. Please help me. I have no idea how to restore my project? For any help great thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums!
There is no way you can delete any original files just by deleting generated media. If you have been editing with proxy files, click the View button top right of the interface and make sure that Media Playback is set to Optimized/Original. Does that solve your issue?

Perhaps the original media was outside the library? On a removable drive or camera card?
