I really miss this function from FCP 7 and kinda can't believe Apple choose to leave it out. No-one else seems to have mentioned it, so I just wondered if anyone else missed it. This was something I used far more regularly than multi cam (and i use that quite a bit)..

I am hoping they will re-impliment it (as FCPX almost seems like its built on Motion's Engine) in the next build..

Is it just me?

Every one has been complaining about this since X's first release. There are lots of complaints all over the discussion boards.

I personally love it! I am a fairly new video editor - two years - and began with iMovie. I maxed out iMovie, tried a few other programs and then a few weeks ago decided to download the FCPX trial. There are definitely some performance issues but I will still stick with it. I love it! I have heard it described as iMovie on steroids - that's a gross understatement. It's iMovie on quadruple steroids!!! It's fabulous! I will definitely be buying both FCPX and Motion when the trial ends in a few weeks.
