macOS 11.2.2 + FCP X 10.5.2 + Motion 5.5.1 on 2019 16" MBP = crash

2019 16" MBP w/64 GB RAM, 2.3GHz i9, 5500M GPU:
Had been working all day in Motion 5.5.1 mostly, trying to make a generator for FCP X (10.5.2), which was also open most of the day. Experienced some weird Motion hangs, but macOS recovered.
Now I get home and I have had 2 successive crashes. Details attached FWIW.
