Transitions applied to every layer was created by tstiefler

I'm trying to do a transition with just text but every effect I use (besides cross dissolve) effects every layer. It's maddening. Are there any transitions that don't do that? Or is there any workaround that doesn't involve customizing in Motion?

Ripple Training has built a set of updated transitions based on the included FCP transitions that work with titles without effecting the underlying layer.
