Just about to buy a MacMini to test and use. I use RX to help with broadcast audio

RX8 is not M1 ready yet. From iZotope's web site:
Operating Systems:
Mac: OS X 10.13.6 (High Sierra) - macOS 10.15 (Catalina)
* Intel-based Apple computers only (not yet ARM)
