Can't make a copy of the Date/Time Lower Third? was created by bradywurtz
So I'm doing some home movies for my father on Blu-ray and he wants some time stamps on the video at the beginning of events so he can see when they were from like in the old VHS days. And I know there's this Date/Time lower third that easily puts the date and time of the clip on top of it with ease, but I want to create a custom one where I can adjust where it is, adjust the background of it, add in some drop shadow, and really make it my own. So I right click on the Date/Time lower third, and choose to open a copy in Motion, I make some adjustments, and save it as a new one, and now when you put it on the timeline, it just has the date and time speed by super fast. doesn't work like the original one, when all I did was change the font, position, drop shadow, and that's it.
What am I doing wrong? Or am I not capable of customizing this?
I'm on macOS 10.15.7 using FCP 10.5.1
I've got a late 2013 iMac so this is as far as I can upgrade my software and OS.

Bump? Is it a bug for the reason why I can't copy the title? or am I doing something wrong?
