Issue with iPhone 12 Pro Import Media Footage

Hi everyone, first post here so please go easy on me! 

I'm trying to import iPhone footage into Final Cut Pro directly using "Import Media" but after the import, there are these "blurred bars" on top (I will add a screenshot) for each clip.

The only way I found around this is to manually airdrop EACH CLIP to my mac and then import those media again, which you can imagine is very tiresome. 

I'm curious as to whether this is just me?

I use the DJI Mimo app because I record on the OM4 Gimble if that helps. 

I record video on my iPhones all the time and don't have issues. I've never used the DJI Mimo app, though. I normally use the Apple camera app, occasionally I use FilmicPro but run into issues with it often.

And yes, I use AirDrop always, which I do not find tiresome. I shoot a LOT and organize into folders, which translates into keywords. I find making folders in the Finder faster than making keywords in FCP.

What are the specs you are recording at? 4K? 30fps? HEVC?

I'd need to see a screen shot of the "blurred bars".
