The error msg says "storage location for one or more libraries no longer avail. It fails everytime I try to save to anything? Plese help!

The drive is beyond full. It doesn't haVe enough space to function. A drive should have at least 10-15% free space at all times. Especially important on the space drive, but also on any drive.

ty for the reply. I've been deleting files to make room for editing. Before I started this project (7 min video) i was at 1.2 GB left of 121gb. The video itself shows 8.29 GB?? How is a short video that large? Anyway, ty for the input! Still learning.

Select the library in FCP and use Delete Generated Library Files. Check everything. In FCP preferences switch off background rendering. Don't create optimized or proxy files on import. Grebereate them in the browser if you need to.

Generate is what happens in the Browser. Greberate is in the Inspector's Whatchacallit section. Although a very minor difference.  🤣

I'll have to test that out, Tom. I've never considered it in the browser.
