FCP 10.5.1 has started giving me the Yellow warning triangle/exclamation mark, when in fact NONE of the files have any problems. Why is this so?

We've seen this bug for a long time now... (yawn) Ignore it.
If someone knows how to force a reset of your Library's assets, I'd love to know how to do it. I have a dozen Librairies like this, nothing is actually missing.

Like Ben said, I think there's a bug that causes the error spuriously. However it might also be a missing or incompatible effect, possibly caused by the upgrade. There is a free 3rd-party utility called X-FX Handler that will list all effects (plugins, titles, filters, etc) if provided a library XML. It will also list an any effect which is referenced in the timeline but does not exist on disk.
Unfortunately that utility has not been updated for Mojave or later. It will run on High Sierra, and the source version of FCP can be on any version. So if you have (or can make) a High Sierra boot disk it will process the fcpxml. www.spherico.com/filmtools/X-Files/X-FXHandler/
A more basic method is exporting an xml for the library, then in terminal go to that folder and type:
grep -ERI "Effects.localized" libraryname.fcpxml
It will search XML for effect plugins and list one line for each found item. Unlike the above utility it does not search the disk and compare installed effects to timeline effects. However it might give a hint for an effect which is missing or needs upgrading.

Once I have checked that there are no problems I collapse the triangle.
When I open it again they sometimes go away.
