Start new Library with your own events

Start new Library with your own events was created by Yveske
When you create a new library you will get the events "Smart Collections" & "Event with date" by default. Is it possible to change this? Now I throwing those events away and make my own such as Clips, Music, Projects, Extras, Compound clips. It would be nice to have these events automatically included when I create a new library
Thanks
Thanks

Set up an empty library template the way you like it. Duplicate it whenever you want to create a new library. You might want to look into Final Cut Library Manager, which in addition to it's organizational tools, has a feature to create a new library based on the structure of an existing library.

As always Tom's advice is good. However I recommend you do not view events as the main organizational tool in FCP. The best way is use favorites, rejects and keyword collections, which are all range-based (not just clip-based).
You can actually manage a huge library with only one event, just by properly using ratings and keyword collections, then querying and filtering those. When clips are imported, you can set an FCP preference to automatically keyword those based on the disk folder name or Finder tags.
New FCP users often gravitate to events because of the familiar bin-like appearance to other NLEs. I generally use a few events and they are a useful tool, but they are not the primary organizational method in FCP.
For one example of how powerful FCP querying is once the clips are properly keyworded, see the video "One Smart Collection to Rule Them All":

Hello Joema, Sorry for my english.....
I have watched your tutorial and personally I think this is a good way of data management in FCPX. I used this already with my personal smart collections. When I put my movie files on the computer I assign a tag to the clip for example, person, animal, building type etc (see screenshot). When I import the clips, the tags are included as keywords and you see this in fcpx. Thanks in advance for your tip Joema
