Send FCPX file to Premiere editor was created by tstiefler
I need to send my FCPX project file to an editor who is going to do color correction. I've seen different stuff on how to do this. Do I need to convert the xml to fcp7 xml with a 3rd party program? I'm assuming I have to include the files but there are a ton. Is there any way to just package up the files in this one project? Or do I have to parse through the raw footage to just send the clips that were used?
Thank you!

Create a Smart Collection to show Used Media, and open that Project into the Timeline pane. It'll list everything in the Browser that is in use in that Timeline, nothing else.
And yes, you'll have to use XtoCC to convert the FCPXML into an XML flavor PPro will recognize. Not everything translates, though.
