Curious warning on Events that don't affect anything in the Project timeline

Event shows exclamation point, no issues with the Project icon, or the timeline, or the video.

Also, strange in this one that at first I had two Events with the icon, and in the last 10 minutes five more of them acquired warnings. The first two "!" were there for the last two days, the rest happened one by one over that 10 minutes... .

Most of the actual video files are in a separate Event, to make it so duplicate intro and outro videos and images are only in the Library once for the dozen videos in it. Everything is there, and all videos play and export as expected.

I've seen this a couple times over the last few years, but this one is strange in that additional Events spawned new errors.

I looked at the FCP user manual and it does not show Events icons when discussing errors. All "!" in the manual are on the lower left corner of the Project icons it uses as examples, these are on lower right. Does that matter? I don't know!

All the intro videos for these use Pixel Film Studios titles, and they are all updated using the new PFS Installer app, which is very cool! At first the videos popped up with a missing title icon, but quickly the title did populate in the timeline to appear as expected. The PFS titles are in a compound clip, but opening them up also displays them as expected.

I'm not concerned about the exports as I know they are good, but I am puzzled by what the "!" is trying to tell me.

I'm on an iMac Pro running latest 10.15.7 Catalina, Final Cut Pro 10.5.

Extra info about the image: the two clips in the screenshot are the Multicam clip and the Intro Compound clip. All files associated with these two clips are in the common files Event I mentioned above.

It's a bug FCP has had for a long time. We've all seen it, and often.

Thank you, Ben. I have seen it before, but not having several additional Events pop up a "!" while i was watching! And usually they go away after a restart of FCP or of the Mac.

With those Pixel Film updates I think all my apps and plugins are updated to Big Sur specs, so I'll probably update to BS on my production iMac Pro a few days after 11.1 is released next week, waiting to make sure folks don't have issues. I will be testing myself on my 2017 MBP and watching for other reports on how FCP is going on BS.

Thanks again, Ben!

PS Oh, well look at that, I just opened the offending Library for the first time today and all errors are gone! How 'bout that!
