Hello!
I need to cut some pillow shots from 2 blu-rays of mine.
i know there are many video converters (from unknown developers) out there,
but could you please let me know what is the easiest and preferred method for editing mkv (and BD folder) files in final cut pro x?
Thanks in advance

You need to rip the files from the Blu-Ray into a format that FCP can understand. You can't import the mkv directly into FCP. Take a look at Handbreak.
