Hi,
for some reason FCPX won´t let me preview the sound effects in the “Final Cut Pro Sound Effects” or the ”iLife Sound Effects” folders, in the Media browser.
If I add a sfx to the timeline the audio plays fine but I can’t preview it in the Media browser.
I have already made a new clean installation of the OS and then FCP. No positive change.
Besides: In Imovie the problem is the same.
Mac OS 10.15.7
Final Cut Pro X 10.4.10
Anyone have a clue?
Best regards from Switzerland

Select the waveform in the Audio browser and press the spacebar. If it plays it should work after that.
