Can't see captions in compound clip

I have a timeline with captions that I made into a compound. I am unable to see the Captions role that is inside the compound unless I go inside the compound. Can someone confirm that this is correct or if I'm doing something wrong.

Here's a video showing the problem:

Thanks!

When you put things "inside" of a Compound Clip, what you then see is only the properties of that single Compound Clip container. Yes, you must go inside the Compound to work directly with its contents.

That the role doesn't show the caption role is weird.

But I've always done captioning last, very last, everything else done first, and only then caption and deliver.
