Compound clips vs projects. Help me understand: Why not to set up my cuts in compound clips instead of projects?
Building my entire cut in a compound clip, wouldn't I be able to assemble select reels, rough cuts etc – and then use them as a compounded sources in the browser window? (Meaning, in the browser I would now be able to skim through assembled selects in the compound clip, and use it as a source for a different timeline.)
It seems like a good idea to me.
Any downsides to do this?
Any way I'm limiting myself when doing this?
What am I not seeing here?
