I'm exporting a 52' documentary to post audio.
In the AAF i have some roles i haven't in my FCPX Project.
For exemple in my project i have a subrole 02_PERCHE wich appear in the AAF export in 01_DIRDIAL-1.
In X2Pro I've check Discard disable and Discard Inactiv.
What can i do to give a clean export to post audio ?
i've attach the fcpxml of one of the file where i've a problem. Import this FCPXML in FCPX you have good role import this fcpxml in X2Pro give you the bad role.

Can’t check your XML right now but out of experience roles/subroles can sometimes get a little messy even when setup with intent before. The best way to check which roles are in your project is to display audio lanes in your timeline and display the subroles as well. You’ll quickly get an overview where obsolete roles or more likely subroles exists. You then change the individual clips to what you want. I recommend this before every XML export that is intended for conversion to aaf. This is the only way I know to make sure the export works as planned.

This is of course what I do every time I finish a documentary. I also try to keep the overlapping of sounds to a minimum to limit the number of tracks for export.
But in this case, the subrôles that are interpreted by X2Pro are absolutely not present in my timeline.
After analyzing the xml, I realize that it happens, for some unknown reason, that X2Pro recovers the subrole of the source clip and not that of the timeline!
To correct this, I have to import the AAF in Logic, ProTools or Resolve (the only free program), detect misinterpreted shots, change the roles and subroles of the source shots, export the xml again and sometimes (but not always) the shots get back in the AAF the subrole I gave them.
Another thing: I did these operations with X2Pro 4.4 and 4.5 the last update which seemed to fix this problem but in fact it turns out for me but also for other pro users, inoperable because it mixes the audio channels which sends in the AAF sounds that we didn't choose!
Anyway, it would be really nice if Apple and Marquis Broadcast would work together to stop having these problems that are undermining FCPX in the Professional world I work in.
