Weird Things Happening

I updated to version 10.4.9 but experiencing weird problems.
1. I pace a 1920x1080 clip into a 1920x1080 project, after editing other clips it transforms to 2x size.
2. Sometimes clips I add only fit when the transform is 50%. When I reopen project some are 2X some are half size.
3. Most annoying of all, some clips (totally random mov, mp4, still frame) grow and shrink on the sides as if I gave them a zoom movement of 10%

I reset fcpx prefs but no luck. So any help is welcome

Could you post some screenshots? Haven’t seen or heard of this before.
