No Audio on compound clip?

I can't see/hear any audio on a compound clip. When I enter the compound clip the inside clip actually has the audio.
What am I missing here? How do I promote the audio to the compound clip as well?

When you place that Compound into a Project timeline, what is the volume level for that Compound set to?
Are there any audio effects on the Compound?

No audio effects, and I literally can't see the sound wave on that clip. only if I dig into the source. I ended up just extracting that sound and copying it up for that case but will watch the next clip I create and see if I can spot some pattern. Did not get it on other clips.

My experience is that the audio is there and plays. The storyline does not display the waveform for the compound clip., but it plays fine.
