Software &/or Plug-ins Question

Hello,

I'm currently upgrading to Catalina, FCPX 10.3.4 (from 10.1.4), adding 2 super graphic cards & also adding RAM from 24 GB on my 5.1 Mac Pro.....& I was recommended to be a part of this forum when I asked an editor the following question:

What is the best plug-in OR software for a beginner to delve into video effects?

I also would like to know if anyone could tell me the way to achieve the effects in the video excerpt I linked from my Google Drive:

Thank you~!

Acquire plugins and templates as you need them for specific projects. Everyone’s needs are different. Don’t just buy cause it’s popular, or you end up with browsers full of junk you never use.
