Up-ressing old footage? was created by pszilard
I got a poor digitised footage off a VHS tape of a TV program from the 1960's. My client wants to extract a few clips to be used in a documentary (we have copyright permission!). Can anyone suggest any program or plugin that could clean up poor black & white footage?

So far, I've done the following:
  • Adjust Luma levels to expand contrast to go from 0 to 100%
  • Applied Sharpen effect
