How can I invert text automatically based on background color?

I've always wanted to do one of those cool things where you invert text automatically based on background color. I feel like it'd be a great way to prevent video theft/meme stealing. An example of this can be found here .

I'm currently on the latest version (10.4.9). If you can help me out, that'd be great.

Place the title (number counter) on top of your solid that you've keyframed (Crop > Right) to animate. Change the Blend Mode of the title.
