Troubles importing with Canon C300 mkiii

Hi there, im having issues trying to import from my new c300 mkiii into fcpx. Currently it only sees the audio and imports that. But if I change my camera settings to shoot 160mbps not the 50mbps it sees both video and audio. I have installed the Canon RAW Plugin 1.4 for Final Cut Pro X (not that im importing RAW anyway) and also the Canon XF Utility 3.6 for macOS. Currently running FCPX 10.4.8. The canon XF Utility see both the video and audio just FCPX for some reason doesn't. Any ideas??
