audio pops in FCPX but no audio pops in clip when played in quick time

I am making myself crazy.
I have audio clips from several sources but the audio clips that are from a go are adding a patten of audio pops or crackels only to the audio from the go pro. but audio from other sources is not effected.
what am I missing.

again when I check the audio with say quick time zero audio pops. only during playback or export the file .

thanks in advance.
