when i import a clip , a camera icon appears on the left bottom side of the browser

That means the clip is still on a camera card, not imported into your Library. Check the Background Tasks (Command-9) window to see if they're still importing. Otherwise, select the Library in the Browser, go to the Inspector, and click "Consolidate" for the Media (which should indicate it is to be stored "In Library").
