Hi,

I do not know how this has happened but I used to have two layers, video and audio, but I restarted my project and now I have blue video files chopped into pieces going on layer after layer. Please help

Hi, Sorry this is what my time line looks like. There used to be just two layers blue and green and now I have this complete mess.

To me it looks like you have expanded the audio and video lanes. You can check by opening the Timeline Index (upper left corner of the Timeline) and then selecting Roles. Does the button on the right say Hide Audio Lanes? If so click it to collapse the lanes.
