On screen sing along lyrics- sugestions?

I was talking with a client about a project that would include video of a singer. We discussing having on screen lyrics that the viewer could sing along with the video. Viewers will be older adults with some dementia. I thought of the old bouncing ball kind of thing.

I am trying to think this through. I know this would involve using subtitles but animating, in time to music, is throwing me. Anyone ever worked on something like this? Looking for ideas.

Thanks in advance.

a quick Google search "fcpx karaoke" spits out several tutorials and plugins for such an effect…

Thank you Karsten. I will definitely look into this.
