Hi all, I’m doing a lyrical video and I guess we know FCPX isn’t ideal for titling.
I assumed that "Save all Formats and Appearance Attributes" so that i can quickly recall the text fonts, size etc.
I then wanted to make a change to my line spacing. I made the change and save it as another preset so I can apply it to the rest of the titles. However, the "Line Spacing" property doesn't get saved over. Is there anything that I'm missing?
A little digging online on Apple’s support site shows that you can save basic text attributes, including font, size, alignment, tracking, and line spacing.

I don't want to go thru 50 title clips to change the line spacing. Any help would be great!

My experience with saving the attributes is that it can be temperamental. I had the case where I couldn't save certain changes too, but I couldn't work out what the problem was/is.
2 things you might want to try. Try to only save a new preset for the 'Formats' only. As this is the only area in which you made a change in maybe you can save it this way?
Alternatively, you should be able to select all your titles and then change the line spacing for all of them at once in the inspector. Again sometimes that works, sometimes not. I think it has to do with that all your titles need to be of the same template. Give it a try anyway. If it works it's the quickest way to change a parameter globally. (Just yesterday I change the font size for 40 titles at once)
