My new Mac Pro: 12 cores and 580x.
Actually, I can’t To Edit in 1080p H264 with several layers. Playback not is smooth. I need the best smoothness.
Now I use previus render option, however, I would like Edit 4k60 H264 or H265 very smoothness.
¿Is it possible without use proxy? Which gpu should i use?
I thinkt that my CPU is Ok, but I don’t know which gpu To use?
Thank you.
Maybe the Mac Pro 7.1 can't do it by using Xeons?
I edit in FCPX and my video is mp4 h264 1080p. Playback ok, but when I use several layer laggy. For example, look my video:
Thanks

That doesn't seem horrible to me, actually very acceptble, considering it's only lagging during transitions and composites. You could just select those small sections of the timeline and manually render them, shouldn't take long at all.
