Pfff I have backups

Working on a big library with multiple events. Some footage is shared between events. Suddenly a spinning ball. Had to do a forced restart. After that the event I was working on was corrupt according to FCP. Loaded a backup from 15 minutes before. Nearly half of he footage was gone! Not visible anymore in the library on the external hard drive. I luckily have a backup drive. This is very scary!

Update. I can still open the original library. No problem with missing files there only the corrupt event isn't visible. Copied the event from the FCP backup to the original library. I then had to relink the original files from the backup disk. Seems to work now......
