Sync Audio with Wav be ok? was created by Cameron Jake
I want to try a pew dee pie thing where I record my studio mic into Adobe and run the audio file seperate to the camera G7 4k either 60fps or 24fps ( which ever you think )
As the wav is being recorded at the standard 44100 etc etc - will this naturally sync up to my picture and follow hte camera audio or will there be settings I need to amend or adjust.
Ideally whip both audio and video together as one file sync that up then start editing with no drift hopefullly?

The standard for video production is 48K. You should record with that sample rate if you can.

OO one more question..
What I do now is import then sync - then make a compound clip - then export the synced file - then import it again and make that into a proxy for editing.
If you edit a compound clip - each time you want to move things around you end up opening up the compound clip again and its very annoying...
is this correct or have I newbed again?

Most people use the sync clip function which makes a single sync clip, not a compound clip. Don’t know why you’d use a compound clip.
