Need a better keyer

I need a keyer for FCP X that can change between circle, square, rectangle and many other shapes. I would love it if it had a drop shadow.

hm....can you elaborate on what you mean by keyer that can switch between circle, square etc? Are you talking about a mask?

Yes a shape mask effect for FCP x

Mattes and Masks don't carry drop shadows. Sounds like a job for Motion. But there are more than one shape masks created by users in the freebie section here, I believe. Mickey probably is more familiar with them than I am.

I am actually working on a mask shape effect. I am putting some polish on it with on screen controls. Give me a few days to get one made up. I will even add drop shadow to the masked image.

I would also suggest Motion 5.
You will have more control and options then anything in FCPX.

In Motion you can even draw your own custom shape, key frame it, etc. That's the proper workflow.
