Hello,
I have been trying to find my answers without posting a question, but I cannot find what I'm looking for so here goes.
Is it possible to copy and paste a mask from one effect to another, within the same clip?
I have a shot of a guitar player. I have two effects (Aura + Dazzle) to make his fretboard glow. I am using one mask to contain the effect to the fretboard and a second mask to remove the effect from his left hand. Is it possible to copy the two masks from the first effect, down to the second effect?
I tried Past Attributes but don't see a way of being so specific.
This is animated so I'm also planning to copy and paste the keyframes from the editor which I think i'm good with.
Thanks for any help. I used to use FCP 7 a lot but never made the change to FCP X. I then had a long break from any editing and am just now getting back in to it. I'm equally imoressed and frustrated...
(though mostly just the magnetic storyline).
