FCPX Captured files was created by damodexter
I'm editing in both FCPX and Premiere Pro. When I try and bring media that has been captured from a tape deck into Premiere it makes all the media 10 seconds long. Can anybody help with this please?
many thanks

That's not really a Final Cut Pro X question. You might be better off posting that in a PPro forum.

Fair enough, but are you aware at all of DVCam files that have been captured in FCPX having any different properties to those captured in FCP7 say? I have captured 2 files identical media, but there seems to be something different in the DV format. The properties seem identical when inspected, but they're clearly not. Thanks

I've not touched DV tape files or legacy FCP in many years.

Can you explain in what way they are clearly different? I captured often in legacy FCP and it made QuickTime files. What are you seeing in the current version?
