Some (but not all) still images that I am trying to put into a project appear as blank, black images in the viewer and when I put them into the timeline. However the thumbnail of the actual image appears fine in the events browser, but goes black whenever I hover over it.

What are the specs of the still? How did you import it, from where? Where is it stored?
