trouble syncing two video clips was created by owenpga
Hello,
Going through the steps to sync 2- video clips but one of the angles doens't syn perfectly. Its just a tad off with the audio.
Here are my current steps.
1. select both clips from the import.
2. rt click and synchronize clips
3. tick the use audio for sync button
4. click the newly created clip and open using the clip tab at the top menu
Both videos have audio in them but one has better sound than the other.
Once the clip is created I've deleted the bad audio.
I'm guessing there is a way to fine-tune the audio using the prec editor?
Not sure how to do this?
Thanks for any guidance.
Owen

Sync clips is to sync one or more audio files to one video file. If you're syncing multiple video files you need to use the multicam sync function.

Thank you,
So i have 2 video clips of me giving a tutorial on how to execute a golf shot. One camera angle is face on and the other is from the side. In the past, i've just cut the 2 video clips up and selected which view i wanted and when in the TL. In doing a little more digging in FCP it looks like the easier way is to do mulit cam and just cut the clips from the multicam window and that automatically adjusts in the TL?
When i did the multicam sync the audio is still slightly off on one of the video clips.

Double click the multicam clip in the browser to open the multicam editor. Adjust the sync there.
You don't cut in the multicam editor. You edit the multicam clip into a project and edit it there, switching between the angles using the angle verier.
