Extending fcpx trial to students

As students in Film and TV courses across the globe are now at home during these difficult times could Apple help the ongoing educational crisis by providing an extended trial for FCPX so that the students can download it to their own home computers and finish their work? In our College we use FCPX but most students do not own a copy and requires coming into the College to use our classrooms and edit suites. They all have unfinished work contained in their libraries and having access to FCPX could ensure they finish their studies. I messaged Apple Education but perhaps some here could help the messaging? many thanks and stay safe, chris

When the free trial runs out, Trash it, redownload it.

They’ll have to set back the system clock as well.

Why? There's no need to reset the system clock. I've had students do this before successfully. But the best thing would be for them to have mom and dad pay for a student discounted version, and be legal.
