I have been facing trouble with my footage. I import the footage and wait for thr proxies to be made. when it get transcoded and im ready to start the edit, my FCP sits on the load icon and my hard drive shows empty. I then close FCP, eject my hard drive and then try to start my edit but only to come across missing files. Please help me fix this problem

I don’t understand that this means. Have you switched to proxy playback in the viewer? Where is your library and media stored? Are you using managed or external media?
