Compressor 4.0.5 hangs and crashes when I try to set up options for "Rendering" was created by scrutinizer171

I have Compressor 4.0.5 installed on my old machine I still use. I followed the official instructions to create extended nodes cluster with this computer acting as the controller. However, every time I click on "Options" next to the Rendering services checkbox Compressor hangs and crashes.
I have to mention, I also have Final Cut Studio installed (including Compressor 3.5.3, with standalone Apple Qmaster and QAdministrator).
