Sliding Panel Lower 3rd Transparent Text was created by scottyd
I am sure this is an easy question but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the sliding panel lower 3rd text non transparent. I've dug through all the settings and no matter what I do, the text is always transparent. What am I missing here? Do I need to drag a solid behind it? I just want the text to be a solid color instead of transparent. Dragging a solid behind it sorta doesn't work too well with the build in/out.

You need Motion to be able to open that title in Motion as a copy, then publish the opacity of the rectangle so you can access it separately from the text opacity in the inspector when you use the modified title in FCP (if you want to control the text opacity by itself you have to publish its opacity too)

Ah thank you. Where do I find the location of that title or can I launch Motion direct from fcpx?

In FCPX, right-click, "Open In Motion" (or it may say "Open A Copy In Motion").
