Mixing different frame rates

Hi everyone,
I hope this question fits in the forum.
I wanted to enhance my travel vlogs and therefore bought a Gopro 7 in addition to my Canon G7X II.
Now I have three questions:
1) Which frame rate should I choose for the G7X. It allows 25fps and 50fps. I was experimenting lately and did not see a huge difference. I had the feeling that 25 fps looks a bit more smooth while panning and when the filming is a shaky or fast.
2) which frame rate should I choose for the GoPro. it allows 24 fps, 30fps, 60fps, 120fps and even 240fps.
I think I am going to use it mainly for water shots and slomos.
3) And most importantly , which frame rate should I use for the project / rendering?
Since I am flying in a week I don't have enough time for testing and figuring out myself. Therefore I hope that someone can relate to the topic and give me a some advice.
Thanks!

If this is for the web, 24fps normally, and shoot your fastest frame rate for what your slow-motion shots.
Faster frame rates will give smoother movement, but then you don't get the in-camera slow-motion clarity.
There are always trade-offs, but that's what I'd do Shoot 25, edit 25, only shoot 50/120/240 for slow-motion shots.
I'm sure 120 & 240 are 720 frame size only, or at most 1080. I'm guessing as I don't have the latest GoPro. Take that into consideration. If you want to shoot/edit in 4K, that sort of kills it for that in-camera, really clear slow-motion.

additionally …
depends on local AC frequency: to avoid flicker/'wandering bands', esp. in situations lit by LEDs, set your camera to 30fps (US, Japan) or 25 (rest of world) => go into your cams settings menu (wrench icon) and under Video System elect NTSC/PAL.

Thanks for the advice!
I guess for me it is not feasible to change around frame rates for specific shots.
I do travel and family vlogs with two little kids. SO the focus is always on family not my camera settings.
And most of time I only realize in post where I wanted to use slwomotion
When I use 50fps footage in a 24p project , is this the same then shooting and editing in 25fps right away?
Sorry for the rocky questions but like I said more a family and adventure guy then filmmaker.
But since our Youtube Channel starts to grow I want to up my videos.
Thanks!

50fps clip in a 24fps timeline is 24fps. If you use the 50fps as slow-motion, you'll get roughly 1/2 speed slow motion. But it is still only 24fps playing back.

Hi,
are you sure taht you can´t change the GoPro settings.
If you set it to PAL you should be able to choose 25/50/100/100.
