How to modify a large building? was created by bradley.cantrell
Greetings FCP Forum. My name is Brad and I am looking for some instruction on how to create a transition. I don't even know what it would be called otherwise I would have searched for the how to already.
I want to fly a drone around a building and in the final video, I want the building to transition from one look to another. For example, 3 seconds it looks like a restaurant, 3 seconds it looks like liquor store, 3 seconds it looks like a motorcycle shop, etc.
What is this FX called and where can I find a tutorial on it?
Thanks much.
Brad

It sounds like you need a 3D modelling package like Cinema4D to create the different buildings, or add realistic elements to an existing building. BUT this is really complicated work that needs some experience to get it right. Not saying that you can't do it, but be prepared to spend a lot of time learning.
I used a 3D package called MODO in the past which I liked a lot. But there are other like above mentioned CInema4D, Blender etc.
Sorry but unfortunately there is no easy answer to this
