How to create this effect?

My logo is text with an illustration of a drone as part of a letter in the logo. I want to create an opening and a closing using this image. Opening would have the logo rise from invisible at the bottom of the screen and the reverse at the end of the video.

I imported it and dragged it to the timeline, however it fills the screen. I have tried to transform it and the tool seems to only limit the viewable portion of the image not shrinking the entire image. So when I do the elevation it is like looking through a tube at the image and not the transformed image.

I have tried crops and transforms and it appears to reduce the image while using the tool but when playing the video I only get the limited view of the image not a reduced.

When I bring in a title I get a bounding box with handles and can drag it around. I was thinking that transform etc would do the same.

What am I missing?

Transform scales the image. Can you post screenshots that show what you see and what you’re doing where.
