Lane selection

Have been using FCP for a while now and continue to learn more about the program every time I use it. At the moment I am stumped on lane selection. There is a small circle/dot that appears on the active audio lane as shown in the screen shot. Is there a keyboard shortcut that moves the circle/dot down to the video or audio lane? Could not find anything about it in the manual.
